Actually, this story was happened one or two months ago.

I went to BBQ party. It was my first Australian style BBQ party I attended. Well, there're not many people there. But, for sure it was very fun and I enjoyed that party. So, at first we grilled the meat. Meanwhile, the host gave us peanuts and spicy potatoes. I didn't like to grill the food because if the smoke comes to me, my shirt smell will be similar to the meat.

Then after all of the people had finished having their dinner, the show began. Since they come from around the world, so we were talking about the culture, the language, story, etc. Well, there was one couple coming from russian. He and his wife were chosen to sing. And surprisingly they sang!! Bloody hell, it was like, you know, you fly to Europe, and see the great scenery and smell the tulips or roses. Yep, the song was very brilliant, although I didn't know what's the meaning, but I still could feel it from the melody. They said that it's a love song. In Russia, "I love you" is translated into "Ya tyebya lyublyu". You bet, it's hard to pronounce. And actually, it is !! especially for people like us.

The next day, I found information on the Internet saying that those phrase is quite tricky. If you mistakenly pronounce the meaning will be different. Other similar pronunciations: "I love tree", I love door", "I love dog". However, The man of the couple sung the day before said the trick is say fast "Yellow Blue Bus". Heheh, so this is just another way to convey your feeling to the one that you love.

Russian is a great language, although most Russians won't understand if you say "yellow blue bus" quickly what you are saying. Especially because you saying bus (vas in russian) is the formal way to say I love you compared to tyebya. You would only really use that if you were telling more than one person that you love them.
