Relaxing a bit
I dunno why, but every time I posted a post here..it is mostly started with "It's been a while". For this post, it is started with the same phrase.
It's been a while I didn't write a post. Was I too busy? Yupe sort of, and many things happened and changed recently. Many hopes and wounds came into this life. Sometimes, the wounds made me desperate, killed my spirit. I felt like the world was going to end. Like Seeker Davis said in her song titled "The End of the World" released in 1964, the sun still goes on, the sea still rushes to the shore. Maybe, the quotes saying "time heals everything" is right. I had some knifes stabbed on my chest recently, the hurt was inevitable indeed. One of them was stroke into my lung, I couldn't breath well. One of them came into my liver, my body was weaken. Fortunately, my heart was still good. I still could walk tried to reach everything that I could reach with this situation. Then I fell down, closed my eyes, until the next day where I opened my eyes, all the wounds became dried and didn't hurt me anymore. I became even stronger to face the world, to see the skies. I became more understand why the sun still goes by and the sea rushes to the shore. Had the knifes didn't stab me, I would hadn't even known how strong I am. People sometimes feel very down when they got many problems. However, In my point of view, this is good. This is good in a way that it makes us even better and stronger. If you'd still remember what Tom Hanks said in Cast away, "When I was in the island, all of my thought suggested that I didn't have any chance to live, But I knew one thing, I have to keep breathing till someday I could escape from this island. It was you giving me a hope".
So, perhaps, in all these uneasy situations we need a hope. There was experiment trying to see this thing. There were two frogs put into different small ponds. The ponds only have water which effectively make the frogs swim all the time. One of them was put under the light, and one of them was left in the dark. In the next morning the frog having light for all the night was still alive. Hopes give us new spirit, new reason why we should keep breathing. The reason why we should smile again. Anyw, there're just a spark in our life, aren't they?
In the end, I just found this song titled "Donna donna". It might be a nostalgic song (if you wouldn't prefer call it old). It was first sung by Joan Barez in 1960. The meaning of the lyric is very deep and really touches my heart. In short,I would say the meaning is like this quote:" don't see how big the problem is, but see how big we are."
Arnold's too sentimental?! Hell yes... because soo many things had happened, I couldn't explain it all, I think I'll save it in my heart. However, I'd like to share my experience with my new fresh buddy, called Zune . Yes yes, I can hear your complain, ipod's fans...
